iPhone doesn't support 3G, is it a big problem?

3G is third-generation technology in the context of mobile phone standards. It is not a very new technology, first phone with 3g support were made three years ago. The main difference between 3G and 2G phones is speed. The average speed in 3G network is 384 kbit/s and the maximum speed in 2G (GSM+GPRS) network is around 171kbit/s.

What will you get if your new phone is 3G? First of all, you will have opportunities to download or upload different files with huge speed. There is a difference between waiting for 5 minutes or 40 minutes for downloading a small movie. The other thing is a video call. It is impossible to make good quality video calls outside 3G network.
